On the weekend of October 18th and 19th, the Criterium returns along with the second edition of the Gran Fondo La Nucía. The most anticipated cycling event of the year and a unique opportunity to combine passion and challenge on two wheels.

CRITERIUM
Saturday, October 18th, 2025
- 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Bib number and race pack collection.
- 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Bib pickup and rider’s bag collection.
- 16:00 a 20:30h CRITERIUM.
- 4:00 pm to 4:20 pm Autograph signing.
- 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm Team presentation.
- 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm Criterium races.
- 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm Criterium awards ceremony.

CRITERIUM

FIRST CONFIRMED

Confirmations begin with Tour de France champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot.
The French rider lands in La Nucía to show why she conquered the most prestigious race in women’s cycling, and she will do so in a unique and close-up format that will let you watch her compete just a few meters away.
The second confirmed rider is the Mexican prodigy Isaac del Toro, runner-up in the latest Giro d’Italia and one of the great revelations of the world peloton.
At just 20 years old and with an attacking style that captivates fans, he comes to compete in the Criterium on an urban circuit that will let you watch him fight up close—almost within arm’s reach.
GRAN FONDO LA NUCÍA
Sunday, October 19th, 2025
- 7:30 am to 8:15 am Participant reception.
- 7:30 am to 8:15 am Riders check-in.
- 8:30 am Gran Fondo race start.
- 10:30 am to 7:00 pm Expo fair, Food Truck area.
- 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm Post-race meal for participants.
- 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm Gran Fondo awards ceremony.
- 7:00 pm Event closing.

ROUTE:
132 km course with 2,275 meters of elevation gain.

Bib pickup
The bib, jersey, and rider’s bag must be collected the day before the race from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
To collect your bib, you will need to present the following:
Your registration includes the official event jersey. This jersey is MANDATORY to wear.

If you are unable to collect it the day before, a teammate may do so by presenting the required documents along with a signed authorization.

The Gran Fondo La Nucía takes care of every detail to offer you an unmatched experience. We have strategically placed aid stations along the route, where cyclists will find a variety of solid and liquid options to recharge their energy.

Breakfast: enjoy fresh fruit, pastries, and nuts to get you ready for the ride.

Lunch: end your day with an authentic paella and a refreshing drink.
And for companions, for just 5 euros, they can purchase a ticket that includes lunch + soft drinks!
SHOWERS
We’ve thought of your comfort down to the last detail. That’s why we will provide showers for both men and women.

We will have a mechanical workshop and neutral support cars along the route.

REMEMBER


- It is a cyclosportive event.
- Riding will take place within the space between the authority vehicles carrying the red and green flags, and cyclists must not invade the opposite lane.
- The mountain passes feature long descents with some dangerous curves, sections where extreme caution is required.
- Do not throw anything on the ground; use the containers and bins located at the aid stations. During the route, keep your waste in your pocket until reaching an aid station or the finish line. Take care of, protect, and respect nature.
- All participants who fall outside the convoy must remember that they are riding in open traffic and must respect all traffic rules and signals. The organization will provide support to them as much as possible.
- At all times, they are required to follow the orders of the Civil Guard Traffic Division officers.
